Probably the worst experience in my life.

I should have known right from the beginning that this place would be bad, as I walk through the door another customer was in there regarding a recently purchased used vehicle talking to his salesman. I guess something was wrong with the truck and the customer wanted it fixed, the salesman was refusing to do anything and from there all hell broke out. The manager came out and kicked the guy off the property. As he was leaving he said to me "Run from this place, go to another dealer"

Anyways I paid no attention to him and proceeded to look at the showroom vehicles until my wfie and daughter got there. Not 1 sales person came up to me to ask if I needed any help (not busy at all, in fact a snow storm outside) 2 or 3 salesman actually walked right past me without even saying hello.

My wife and daughter show up and she says to me, nobody helping you yet, I say no and go to the front desk and ask for a sales rep (specifically not any of the 3 that walked past me and said nothing) the lady just looked at me and said whatever!

I tell the sales rep I want to test drive a couple of the used Mazda 3 2007 models they have in particular the one for $13,888 with 30,000km. The rep goes and gets the car and jumps in the back seat to come along for the ride. (How can you test drive a car and talk about it with the sales rep there). Anyways, my wife and I already drove a couple of 3's before so we say we are interested and will be looking to purchase within a day or 2 and I will be paying cash. The rep throws a number at me and I laugh and say well I was thinking more like $13,500 taxes included plus you get my trade in (2000 SL1 saturn 225,000KM) he crunches some numbers and says I can do $13,550. Done I say, he counters would you consider a 2008 for $14,550 with the same KM and options on the car I say sure, show me the car and we can talk but I need to go now and call me tomorrow to arrange for me to come back tomorrow.

I get the call at my work and he says, yah I can't do that deal we talked about yesterday my manager said no to it and actually the selling price of $13,888 is now $14,200. The manager said he priced it to low and scrapped our deal. I was like WTF we have a verbal contract here you cant say sorry but I am renegging on this. Then he tells me if I still want the car it will be $14,550 taxes in and he and the manager will need to drive my trade in first to see if they will even take it. I said what about the 2008 price of $14,550 he said ya well thats not going to happen either it will be $15,750 taxes in.

I then said "LOSE MY PHONE NUMBER" thanks for your hard work!

I also called around to other Mazda dealers, including talking to Jeff, he was telling me more about the demos he has, rather than the used 2007's they have on the lot as he did not know the history of the car. Nothing against him doing that, it however was more money than I was willing to spend at this time. If I was going that route I am sure I would have bought from him, as he was more than helpful with me over the phone.

Anyways, I will be picking up my Mazda 3 on Saturday from a cambridge dealer (not mazda). The car was in a minor accident but has been fully fixed with absolutley no frame damage. I asked for the car to be inspected and certified by my inlaws best friend up in cambridge (Franklin Automasters) as I know his work very well and he would inspect every inch on the car. After I spoke with him, he said buy this car it is in mint condition. I got a 2007 Mazda 3 GS fully loaded and with a moonroof with 35,000KM for $13,000 taxes inc plus my saturn.

I can't comment on the sales staff at DWM but I have only positive things to say about the service department. They have always been top notch IMO.

See below for my not so great experience at DWM. I'm still sour over it and I've never gone back. Avante Mazda is where I go now.

I would prefer not to comment on DWM. The Sale went ok, but that was it.
