Hey guys, bit of a n00b rim question...

I have an opportunity to get my hands on a set of these rims at a pretty good price, but upon closer research, it appears that most sites will rate these rims at +43 offset, despite the seller posting them as +48 offset.

I can't really verify in person as this is a deal from Texas, but he is a vendor with 1000+ posts at a VW golf site. Interestingly enough, I've come across a few sites that claimed to have an 18x7.5 @ +48, such as the below site...

http://www.toyspeedracing.com/id144.html

So, that being said:

1) Would either +42/43, or the +48 offset fit my 3?
2) 7.5 is ok with the 3 as well right?
3) I highly doubt I will, especially with a lip but if it is indeed +48 and 7.5m, will I have issues lowering the car around an inch?

Thank you, Mazda-community! :chuckle

If the wheel is 7.5" wide, you can fit the 48mm offset, and shouldnt rub. The 42mm/43mm is a tossup. Some rub, and some dont.

my old wheels were 17x7, with 205/50R17 tires, with a 42 offset, and i was lowered quite a but on coilovers (at least 2 inches), and i never rubbed.

if you're not lowered, you will not rub..

with that being said, i wouldn't put those wheels on your car without lowering it

Hey, I got the exact same rims on my car right now, with Pro-Kits. I don't rub with normal driving, unless I go over a bump or something.

Mine is the Titanium Bronze version.
