It's been over a month since I bought my 2010 Sport GT from Scarboro Mazda. I've held off writing about the experience to give the new owner euphoria to wear off.

In short, I couldn't be happier with the experience. I didn't deal with the usual sales staff as they were all busy when I walked in; their sales manager Louie took care of me from arranging for a test drive to the delivery. The negotiations were fair and friendly, unlike other car purchase negotiations that I've dealt with before. Louie was friendly, funny, and realistic, not condescending or confrontational at any time. The delivery was thorough and detailed. He was understanding when I couldn't make it up there in the appointed time because of traffic.

That alone would have made it a great experience. But since then, Louie has called several times to check up on how things are with the car and if I had any questions. This is after the sale has already been made, and is far more than I have gotten from supposedly "upscale" dealerships such as Acura.

I have no reservations about recommending Scarboro Mazda. I haven't brought my car in for service yet, and I haven't decided where I'll go for it, but if their service is as good as their sales, it'll be worth the trip up there from downtown in rush hour.

Disclaimer: I have no open transactions with Scarboro Mazda. I'm not an employee there. I don't have friends working there. etc. etc. blah blah blah.

Yes! Louie's customer service is very good. He is currently looking out for an off lease return for me. I spoke to him on a few occasions but they turned out to be above my budget. Good Man.
