Went in to MOT for the slight rough idle problem i've had with my 2 month old car. Right away I was told as I was dropping off my car that every car has a slight rough idle and that it was almost pointless to have them take a look at it. I was like "huh?" I said I was part of the forum and it seemed to be a problem that alot of people have encountered. I was then told that people on the forum are a bunch of wannabe mechanics that don't know what they're talking about LOL.....I won't say who said this to me but was hilarious considering Flip and Biz both work in that dealership and are big contributers to this forum.

Anyways, they said they'd still take a look at it, and after 2 hrs they said that the idle is supposed to be that way, and that maybe it would settle after 6 months of driving. They wanted to upgrade the computer program so I said sure and waited another 45 min, which was fine.

Went down to meet Joe and pick up a touch up paint marker (stupid stone chips), great guy, nice meeting you!!

Also I would suggest only dealing with Vincent in the service department.

Dropped by Jeff's desk but he must have been out test driving a Kia :) j/k

I want to know who said this. There is no reason why you should hide his name either. We all need to know who are good service personnel and who are not.

+1. I would have mentioned this to Jeff and Joe while you were there.

Yeah don't be afraid to come down and see myself or Jeff. Try me first though since Jeff is in sales and I'm in parts/service.

You and Jeff should just start up your own dealership. haahha, just for TM3 members.

Then they would never make money offering all those discounts...

Yes, I know you still make a bit after discounts you offer TM3 members.

You gotta think about it like Wal-Mart though... They sell for less, and because of that EVERYONE goes to them... so they end up accumulating more in the end than all the other retail stores who sell the same thing for almost double the price!

haha sorrryyyy /threadjackin lol

Having customer service is great and we all appreciate it... but... a business that doesn't make $$ won't last... :p

For me, if I have to pay a little more at a place that excels in customer service, I'd go there instead of going to some place that has it for cheap but don't know how to treat a customer.

Me too I suppose, but, man when I just need some toilet paper, I'm going to Wal-Mart I don't even care about customer service at that point. hahaha

why go to Wal-mart? I got an even cheaper solution, just take a roll home from your office bathroom. :chuckle
