I've had that issue too when i turn the AC on after a while of not using it.
I just had the vents cleaned/ cleared and problem solved. I do it once a year......

ya i just turned my AC on for the first time all year 2 days ago (havent used the AC since last fall) and ya, it wasnt comparable to B.O. but it was a kinda strange odour that came out for the first 10-15 seconds as the AC kicked in, and then passed. totally clean, normal smellng (if that makes sense) 'air' haha

i recommend going to watch an episode of Seinfeld where Jerry valet parks his car at a restaurant.... then get back to me on the car smelling like B.O.

edit: didn't see the post above till I posted this hahaha oops.

By the way I have to make a note, it's really funny I can't help but wonder if you really are smelling B.O.... every time I order a pizza lately, I keep getting the same guy deliver it to me. Usually I order a couple of cans of pop with it and EVERY TIME I drink from the can, the top of it REEKS like B.O. hahahhahahhaha, and the smell does not go away. Maybe watch who actually works on your car next time juuuust to be sure :chuckle

Maybe if delivery boy's car doesn't have A/C he holds the pop cans under his pits to stay cool?

after the vents are cleaned I recommend you run the A/C temp on hot for a minute or two before you shut the car off. Run the fan at high speed and engine running as this will dry out the evaporator coils, the smell is mold-mildew , not drying it will cause the development of mold. My car is 5 years old and the vent air doesn't smell at all. Google"A/C air vent smells" for other suggestions-fixes
