I have a 2005 mazda 3 sedan 2.0L. My front headlight burns out like once every 2 months. Whats the deal? is it because I have the canadian version so my headlight lowbeams are EXACTLY the same as my regular driving lights, meaning their always on?
How can I disconnect the DRL'S? I hate them...someone HELP lol

Well your 05 does use the same bulb... but pulsates at a much lower intensity so that wouldn't be an issue.
Just some simple things to be sure of, if the bulb is touched when swapping it will burn out much faster... apparently condensation in the housing could affect them as well. Could be the wiring perhaps, maybe take it to a dealer of the first two aren't an issue.
Do a search, you might find some useful info that way as well.

Are they handled properly prior to installation?

I had the same problem with my Acura. I finally figured it out. Every time I used the high beams on dark roads within 2 weeks the bulbs would burn out. Both within days of each other. So I just never used my high beams and the problem solved.
