Trunk wont open with key

Its been like this since winter. Initially I thought it was frozen and the key wouldnt go in. Eventually I was able to wiggle it in with the help of some of WD-40 but it still wont even turn. Waaaaaaa :( What can I do? Keep trying to fight it? I dont wanna break my key LOL

lol same problem !
Lock pin is unlocked .. didn't have time to look in to it but I will do so soon I will keep you updated ..

I can open it from Inside of the car

make at $2 key at CT.. don't use your chip key.
take off the panel behind the trunk lid off and you'll see the lock from the other side, you may have a better chance of loosening things up from there.

its always good to lube them up from time to time. spray some lube in your key, insert it and give it a couple of turns. you should also do this on the doors just incase your keyless runs out of battery.

Well I have a Golf so I do have a special place in my heart for hatchbacks LOL
