My gf BB messages me to tell me that after work she got to her condo and the elevator doors open and she almost bumped in to the person coming out and she said "Oops I'm sorry", the person coming out says while walking by "yeah i'm sure you are you slanty eyed bitch."
WTF. I ****ing wish I was there. I would have beat the **** outta that mother ****er. Well I'm sure that wouldn't have happened if I was there.

I know roughly the time this happened. Should I speak with security to view camera tapes to find out who this person is? I wouldn't want anyone else to be treated like this mother****er treated my gf.

I've dealt with some racist shit too..when i was at work a customer from woodbine race track came in and asked if i was still making bagels..i said no..he then proceeded to say "Phil if only you were in a cotton field you would be doing twice the work." At that moment in time i wanted to knock him the **** out but i didn't want to lose my diginity by beating the living shit out of an ignorant horse shit shoveller. He came back in the next day and was kicked out for verbal assault toward an employee.

I understand your fustration, but my advice is don't confront the guy. Life will only get worse for your gf since you're not always around to protect her. Things like this get escalated...you might find yourself in handcuffs and at the end of the day, its just not worth it.

Reminds me of the time I was at work and I was scanning some customer's purchases and he kept asking, "Do you see what you're doing ? Do you know how many there are ?" and I said, "Yes. First of all, if I didn't have my uniform on, I would grab his scrawny-ass by his shirt collar and straightpunch him right on his nose. I just told him he was being an ignorant, racist ******* and I also told him that I'm not even Chinese... he must've felt like an idiot after that. I purposely dropped all his purchases on the floor and said, "OH, apparently, I can't see where I'm putting your stuff. Next in line please."

I also had a black man call me a "chink" in front of other customers for no apparent reason. I said, "Would you like it if I called you the N-word ?" and he said, "All you Asian people look the same anyway." ... well, his wife was very apologetic about the situation and she was just even more embarassed when I told them that I'm Filipino, not Chinese. She told her husband that one day, he's gonna say that word to the wrong person and he'll get what's coming and she'll just stand there and not do anything to defend him. Ignorant f*cker...

Didn't even get in trouble with management for that one, thank God.

The other day while I was at work I was serving a customer and she wanted salad so I said okay I will do it, meanwhile the other woman I was working with served the other customer *there were 2*. So here I am at salads and finish with the first customer's order and then another lady came in so I served her as well. Afterwords I went back to the deli to serve the other customer that had been waiting then out of nowhere came this guy WHO WAS ALREADY GETTING SERVED BY MY CO WORKER. He came up to me and says "This woman has been waiting for 5 minutes. You should not have been serving at salad when she was waiting" meanwhile the woman who was waiting is looking at him like WTF is your problem. he continues on saying "Get to work before I talk to your manager Mark about it Smarten up you ****ing kid" I'm sitting there like wtf, there is one person at the deli and I'm only one person. So he takes his deli and leaves giving me a dirty look and leaves with the remark "watch yourself otherwise you may be out of a job" this got me rattled and got me in a pissed off mood for the rest of the day. The woman was sitting there like what the hell was that all about, I am in no hurry so it didnt bother me and he should not have talked to you like that. So after she leaves I go up to my manager and explain to him what happened. He sits there and asks where he is. I tell him he is in the lineup. He goes up to him and says was there a problem. He explains what he said saying he was not at all rude. The manager said to him that he should not have gotten mad at me for that because I was in the right and he was in the wrong and told him not to do it again. I hate managers that side with customers to be customer oriented. People have taken the mentality that "the customer is always right", too far. I'm sorry, I don't care if you're the king of tim buck two, if you're wrong, you're wrong. Sometimes people need to be put in their place. Managers that don't stand up for their employee who is not in the wrong is completely an :AH. As long as humanity exists, there will always be racism and stereotyping. I get so much of this crap from work, that it's not even funny. I've also actually seen another customer refer to some Chinese shoppers as "chinks" to another co-worker. The co-worker actually told them to get the **** out of the store... it was great seeing that :chuckle And I don't think it helps that I'm the token Asian girl working in the store LOL, I pretty much get the brunt of all the Asian jokes.

And that's why I always put customers back in their place... I really dont give two hoots if they bitch and complain but in all honesty, policy is policy. Abide by the rules, and everybody goes home happy. Simple as that.
