Anyone here on R/C car hobby?

Looking for Mazda3 or MazdaSpeed3 shell to add to my collection. Thinking of painting it White and putting TM3 decals. I found an RX-8 casing so I will pickup that instead if I can't find any Mazda3 case.

Currently have BMW & Porsche 911 bodies on HPI Racing RS4 Nitro frame.

Soo true! I did not have a chance to install all the mods and stopped buying all the parts. Not doing any R/C racing anymore. Just adding extra Mazda shell for my collection and putting TM3 decals. TM3 represent!!!

RS4? I just sold one in the fall. I still have a Serpent 705 with a Carlssen modifed Novarossi Rex racing engine. Where do you run?

It's more than 5 years since I stopped, HobbyHobby parking lot - Streetsville. Sold all mod parts and kept the shell and frame for display.

If only our cars were like that. One day you wake up and don't feel like driving to work in your Mazda3 shell so you slip into the 911 shell.

I am also into this hobby for quite sometime now. I too was looking for a Mazda 3 body before but I gave up. HPI and Protoform is not making it. Previously, Protoform have a Mazda Speed 6, but I am not certain if they have discontinued it. Currently, I have the following bodies for both Nitro and Electrics,

190 mm - Tamiya Volvo 850BTCC
Tamiya 2000 Subaru Impreza WRC
Tamiya Nissan Skyline

200 mm - HPI Acura RSX
HPI Lamborghini Countach

I wish, I have these cars in true to life, but, there is one problem, I only one parking spot, oh well, I'll just keep my 1/10th.

I've got an HPI Savage 25 and an HPI Nitro MT2

had them for atleaast 4 years.. probably havent even ran a gallon through their engines.. i get so lazy..

anyone up for helping me tune my savage? lol

we should have an R/C meet

i like the helicopter too, but the thing is, is to loud though

I'm gonna hold you to that Jason, lol.. I should go fix my broken throttle linkage on my savage..

Not sure what most people have.. maybe we need to setup a poll

we could have a few meets during the summer. it would be great:pop

aj3 - i have a brand new yokomo 240sx with all the accessories if you can't find a mazda3 body and would like something else. :)

omalak i have a set of wheels and tires for the savage if you are interested. i sold the truck and have some parts lying around. got a JR FM RX and TX collecting dust as well.

Still looking for Mazda3 shell but might settle for RX-8 if I can't find the 3.
