hi everyone,
i have questions, i just found out recently that when i press the brake, i can hear the " Click " sound on the transmission
My car is automatic transmission, so when i want to put the gear to D(drive), i press the break and there is a sound Click, everytime i press there is click...
The click only sound when i press the brake while engine is ON.
i dont know whether this is a normal. or i have a problem with the break

pls help me

its the safety switch for when you are shifting from park.

It's normal, there's nothing to be worried about.

The shift interlock is what's making the click sound. It's there so your car doesn't jump out of gear.

+1, ya what they said lol, i noticed this first in my civic, but it was a lot louder in the vic for some reason, but ya its like the lock that stops u from ebing able to shift
