I went to this dealership because I live very close (approx 2 km)
Stay away!!!
My Mazda 3 is my first car...
About 2 years ago, my first or second oil change. When I got home, I looked under my car and found the plastic shield (I am not sure of the name) hanging down almost touching the floor. I had to go back, which they promptly fixed at no charge. They said the screw was broken (ya right!)
I bought OEM side skirts and had it installed at dealer. This was a nightmare. A long story short, I had to keep going back everyday for a week because they did not know how to do it. I paid a lot of money for the skirts. To compensate me, they waived the labour costs and gave me a warranty for one year. The skirts did not fall out yet and look good. It was such a hassle.
They would say, "your car will be ready in about 1 hour". It always took double the time....
I got the impression that they (mechanics) didn't care about my car.
The positive? I didn't buy my car at this dealer. They have ok area to sit and watch TV. They usually have a cute girl at the front desk. It was a close location and convenient for me.
The negative outweigh the positive experiences. Needless to say, I stopped going.

As my best friend Omar Khan was the owner of the dealership during the time in which you had bad experiences, I appoligize on behalf of the Khan family for your experience....
Did you deal directly with Ron the service advisor?
He is a remarkably fair man in my opinion.

I don't think it's that they don't care..i honestly think they just don't know what their doing.
I have been having an issue with my A/C which blows on my feet when i have the vents in a different postion and at first the mechanic tryed to tell me this is normal...when i told them having the A/c blowing on your feet is not normal they tryed to fix it..but nope and they said they don't know what to do...they told me that they need to get hold of mazda canada cause they don't know how to fix it...i still haven't heard anyhting :flaming *my local dealer is bay mazda*
That's why i don't think they don't care but they jsut don't know what their doing

The three service advisors and the mechanic were no help. After bringing in my car every day for one week, Ron finally stepped in (you would think he should have done this sooner as he seems to be a supervisor of some sort).
Ron said, "We can't keeping working on your car. This is becoming ridiculous. Come in the garage and tell us when you are satisfied".
Amigo said "ok, let me in and I'll show you ridiculous".
We walk together towards my car half raised. The mechanic was on the opposite side of the garage talking to someone. The guy from the Parts department was working on it. I don't know wtf he was doing...
Amigo said, "Raise the car higher, now LOOK, like I said you guys used a piece of wood with a screw to keep the side skirt in place and the plastic is all chipped away like someone was using pliers. Do you understand what I am saying Ron?"
The guy from the parts department walked away. This is where Ron offered to send the car to their body shop to do it again with a new skirt and use silicon and give me a one year warranty. He waived the labour cost as well.
When I initially purchased the skirts from Parts Dept. at dealer, the guy said we don't install it here, but you can go up the street to our body shop or any other one. When I went to their body shop, the guy said we can't do it and sent me back to the dealer and then the problems started. My car in the end gets fixed at their body shop.
It took one week, a lot of aggravation and patience. It's like they thought I was blind and stupid. I didn't want to name anyone, but you asked about Ron. The people who work there will flat out lie if it is to their advantage.
Thanks for reading my little story

Ron is the senior service advisor...so in a sense "supervisor" might be a fair enough word.
I'm glad he stepped in and satisfied you, 1 week might seem like a long time..but is sometimes unavoidable...A piece of wood and a screw though? ouch...hopefully the guy was canned...
Thankfully he stepped in and you recieved a fair outcome.

The mechanic wasn't canned. He still works there. So "buyer beware".

I'd say this is the worst Mazda dealership in the GTA, for service anyway.
