View Full Version : Stock halogen bulb replacement

Is there anyone in Mississauga (401 & Mavis area) who wouldn't mind giving me hand with putting stock halogens in? I've read posts on how to install but the damn retention clip is giving me a major headache:bang!! Westowne Mazda feels the need to charge me $60 for a 2 min job.:flaming

I bought the bulb from Canadian tire. When you think of their Labor rate which is $95 and lets SAY for fun it takes 10 minutes. Thats only only $9.50! How they figure it costs more than that is ridiculous. I can get an oil change for cheaper than that!

Have you tried changing them yourself? It is so easy; I'm not trying to sound like a d!ck, but it really is easy. Pull off rubber cover; push clip; lift clip; pull clip; remove bulb; install bulb so it is seated correctly; push clip upwards and in towards the headlight assembly; push cliip down; install rubber cover; have a beer.
