Sunroof ticking

More of an annoyance than a problem,

Yesterday I drove my car after 2 days, tilted up the sunroof and noticed this strange sound... like its slipping, it was like a ticking/creaking noise...

Only happens when the sunroof is tilted open, when I close it there is no issues, when I slide it there is no issues.

I though it might just be an oiling issue, could it be my motor? I'm gong to try and oil it this weekend, should I use something special or will WD40 do the job?

as previous poster stated, I would say bring it in to the dealer if it's still under warranty.

I notice mine does the same thing, taking the car to the dealer for my yearly rust check in July might as well tell them to take a look at this and see why it does that noise.........

Problem solved. Took it to the dealer, just needed to be lubricated!!!
