Just came back from Green and ross and they found that the passenger side of the wheel bearing is wearing out and it will cost $361 to replace...i think i noticed it cause i hear a humming side when i drive
My car is a lease and i have 47,000km so will it be replaced my mazda under warrenty?
Also to let you know my car is lowered in tein h-techs...will mazda void the warrenty on it?

dunno if the wheel bearings will be replaced under warranty since it is considered a wear and tear item.

Your wheel bearings ARE covered under warranty and NO they cannot claim lowering the vehicle has any effect on the bearings or void the warranty.
Had a couple of bearings replaced under the same conditions myself.

I would think a dealer could argue that stiffer springs prevent the suspension from absorbing impacts that result in damage to the bearings....

A hard-assed dealer could argue such, but it is a remote possibility since there is so much more which deflects more easily from road impacts (shocks/springs/tires all should compress fully before there is much added stress on the wheel bearing). A more logical argument could be made if the car's alignment was off, which would cause constant off-angle wear on the bearing.
Anyway, I also had one replaced under warranty two months ago, at about 58,000km. If one dealer won't do it, take it to another. I went to Mazda of Toronto.

My dealer says bearing are not covered under warranty after 36km. We have 48 km and need replace front passenger bearing. Both front hubs run very hot compared to the back two- can bearly keep my hand on them. Is this an indication of worn bearings?

Keep in mind that most of the heat generated at a wheel will be because of braking, and the front brakes do much more work than the rears. Are you touching the hub itself or the outside of the wheel?
I would be very unhappy if wheel bearings are not covered within the standard bumper-to-bumper warranty (which from my and others experiences, it should be). By that logic, a LOT of the car could be considered wear-and-tear items and not replaced under warranty. Try to get a second opinion if you can find another dealership close to you.

Worn bearings or dragging brakes. Or you do a lot of stopping.....

but if the bearings go normally about how many kms do they change at or is it buy like driving habits or can it be something else like suspenion or drive shaft ???

Bearings should not wear/fail under normal use at such low kilometers. I would expect at least 50-60k km at a minimum, with 80-100k km not being unreasonable.

^ was your car lowered when you made the warranty claim?

Yes. I happened to be at MoT two days before my appointment and asked Jeff if he thought it would be a problem. He said it shouldn't be, and told me to give him a shout if the service desk gave me any hassle about it.
If the alignment is within spec, lowering the car should not affect the wheel bearings (possibly if you're on ultra-hard race-spec springs).
