Heading down to Cuba this week, just wondering for those who have been before, what do I need in terms of outlet adapt. and power converters for charging camera batteries etc. I've read in my google search that all you need is an adapt. if your charger can handle 110-220 volts. I just wanted to confirm this so I'm not frying my camera batteries. TIA.

Most electrical devices now a days a rated 110~220VAC which means if you voltage is anywhere b/w those two it shouldn't fry anything unless there is fluctuation or a power surge. the best thing I bought was a Belkin surge protector from apple store cost me $30 it has 3 out let switches and 2 USB charge ports plus did I say Surge protection... which is cool...with turnable points http://www.bizrate.com/ups-power-adapters/belkin-bz103050-tvl-3-outletmini-surge-protector%2Fusb-charger--pid898098541/

I'm Cuban, inside hotel probably you can find some European standard due to many European tourist, but electrical outlet there are the same as here, sometimes the problem is with the ground, over there many outlet have only have 2 holes. i left few years ago and i didn't stays in hotel, but this is the standard over there.
