a good site for downloading random tunes is www.hypem.com it's a blog search engine that lists music that people post. It's awesome.

Another would be to download via torrents. Vuze is a great program, you can search torrent sites right in the program and download straight to the program with a single click. It's great.

state of trance shows are good, so is anything by ministry of sound, buddah bar is good if you like more ambient and chill out stuff, On the BPM website they have a chartlisting which gives you some ideas. They have their own chart and they also have a listing by a dj of some good stuff to look out for.

I think house heads love house so much because it's hard to find good house tracks.... it's part of the appeal. And it's different from the monotonous repetitive overplayed hip hop / pop crap on the radio. (Don't get me wrong I like some hip hop, but most newer stuff absolutely sucks) I actually boycott radio.... the antenna isn't even hooked up in my car, partly because I hate commercials, but mostly cuz I don't like 99% of what the radio plays.
