Hey Karen ! Do any of your "labour discounts" apply to diagnostic testing ?

Where is the feedback section? Doing a search on Agincourt has a lot of user feedback and one place to track this would be great.

Help,

I need a full inspection of my car before i hit 80000km, and i've been taking my car to Whitby mazda but i think i just keep getting screwed over there.

There only answer to any problem i bring them is, "oh well, we will lube it, give it some time and let us know"

Would getting a full inspection cost anything? I assume my warrantee would cover it.

Please let me know as i would love to get it in ASAP, plus i only work just down the street.

thanks

Yup...I dropped my car off today for service but I didn't meet Jim. I dealt with Sham (Shamad) and Nichole and both were very friendly and easy to deal with so it's still pretty positive in my view.

I hope the Jim Vella, Fixed Operations Manager (http://www.markham-mitsubishi.ca/AboutUs/Staff.aspx?lng=2) is not the same Fixed Ops Manager referenced here (http://forums.evolutionm.net/canadian-forum/448616-buyer-beware-markham-mitsubishi.html)

Just took a look at the Agincourt Mazda website and it seems they've cleaned house with more people other than just Lester. I don't recognize any of these new faces.

I still see Lester as the SM of Agincourt on their homepage. And where is Moh !??!?!?

Yeah, when I was there yesterday, the whole service departmet team had changed including the business development co-ordinator.
Sham was impressed with my ride. He liked my lip and turn signal mirror and seemed pretty cool when he found out I was a member on TM3. I'm pretty happy with my service yesterday and hopefully it will continue in the long run for all of us.

+1

Why fix something when it isn't broken - I havn't had a problem with the current service guys (I really do miss the Karen days though) - just don't having to start over.

I will still be going back as they seemed to have turned it around from a few years back - am happy with their service.

I'll go back just as long as they kept the same great mechanics. If not then I'll have to find another place for my warranty stuff.

I was just there and found out that Lester did not leave. Him and Jim the new service manager only swapped locations. Are these managers on a union to switch to different brands? I just went to leave my car for a type 3 service and a tranny flush along with a power steering and moonroof concern. Gave them 8 hours to do it and they came back to me saying they need the whole day. Luckily they were able to give me a loaner at no charge.

^^ Jim was from Markham Mitsubishi and both the dealership and mine as well are owned by the same Dilawri Group.

Moh is no longer at Agincourt - I spoke with the another Service Advisor (I can't beleive I forgot his name) and he said Moh went to a GM Dealership I think.

Moh was great - but they still have a great set of service advisors.

I think it has something to do with Dilawri since they are all working for Dilawri which perhaps can explain why Karen moved but yes it doesn't make sense to go from Mazda to Mitsubishi and back and then leave your service advisors where they are.

Not sure either what is going on. I spoke with Lester and he said they cleaned house and changed everyone. Even some of the mechanics as well. This has always been the primary complaint and they don't get it. Customers go back when they have developed a relationship and trust.

Back to square one again so why bother.

Bring Karen back and we'll see.

Let's start the bets as to how long Jim will be here before he's gone as well again.

I dont have any problems with the mechanics their and neither with the advisors or Lester. But then again its not our decision to make. My opinion is if a dealer is running smoothe why stir up the pot

I heard that the issue was the lack of revenue being generated by the service department after Karen's departure. Thus a change is made to bring in someone with a fresh approach, who may have more success.

I totally beg to differ. My run-ins with the Service Department after Karen left the dealership have all been abysmal AT BEST. I say to stick with the tried and tested and just bring Karen back to get the dealership's Service Department feel like it's actually a Service Department. Unfortunately, we can't win em all :(
