Hi there,

has anyone ever used the touch up paint pen from the dealership? is it any good for minor scratches on the car?

any tips on how to use it properly?

It's not the greatest but it's alot better then leaving the chip to rust in the future.

Just press down and paint will come out..then when drys flip over and press down and clear comes out

lol, that how-to is hilarious! I found the best way to use the paint pen is to bleed out some of the paint into a disposable cup. When you have a nice pool of paint, take a toothpick, dip it into the pool of paint, and apply it onto your car. This method works well on small chips since the tip of the paint pen is too fat to use on small details. Good luck!

In my experience, does it work on scratches? Not so much. Rock chips on the other hand, yeah, I guess it does the job.

if you buy the touch up paint in the states, you will get it in a "nail polish" bottle instead of the silly pen... that'll give you more flexibility and control :)
