My insurance company called me yesterday and asked me where my car was? I said...its at my dealership getting repaired, right where I left it and right where they last checked the damages.
Turns out they had a hard time trying to find out where the hell my car was...going from the dealership to the body shop and what not. So now my insurance company is telling me that my dealership is no good.
This is MOT btw and Vincent was apparently finally able to find my car.

Your insurance company told you that the Mazda of Toronto dealership was NO GOOD? As in you shouldn't be getting your car repaired by them? Or was it more a personal comment about his frustration in tracking down the vehicle.
That's a serious comment coming from your insurance company. I'm inclined to believe that it has to do with your insurance rep and his frustration and not a formal statement as to the competency of Mazda of Toronto. It's personal comments like these that can get people fired or at the very least reprimanded.

MOT does not have a bodyshop on site do they? Do they use triple crown like Sisley Honda? If that's the case than the b/s is no good. Had less than pleasent repair work done on Honda vehicles there and rust issues as a result of a shoddy repair persists until this day.I also know insurers who have preferred shop list and that one is not one of them.
Supreme Collision however on Yonge and Clark although seems like a tiny little place do excellent work, reasonable, approved/preferred shop by many insurers and don't seem to be affiliated with any of the dealers in the area for some reason.

It was a more of a personal comment on her frustration in finding out where my car was...she was however implying I should think about another deal that isn't "incompetent" and "knows where your car is when asked" (her words not mine). Personally I don't care as long as my car comes out as good as new. I do however find it odd that it took her over two hours to locate my car when this is something that should take less than a minute. She first called me she said that the dealer "has no record of this car being brought here" (dealers words not hers). I asked her if she could call back and speak to Ali, the person I spoke to in the service department, and she eventually called me back saying that she spoke to Vincent and found my car.

No they don't, but the insurance agent said that she called the bodyshop and they don't have the car.
