So I went in today to the Apple Store trying to get my iPhone 3G replaced via warranty - it ends tmrw :bang. So last night I do a restore thinking I removed all evidence of my jailbreak. Little did I know the battery percent thing beside the battery was still there. I thought it was a feature of 3.0 but I now find out it is a 3GS feature only. So the guy at the counter tells me my issue normally warrants a replacement except but since there is evidence of a firmware tweak they cannot do it.
To shorten the story, I go home call Rogers and go through the replacement process with Rogers. I'm not too sure if the guy managed to get a Serial Number from my phone, but he did leave a note I guess under my name about the JB. What if he also recorded my serial number? When Rogers receives my phone and sends it in will this be accessed?
