Anyone into this hobby?

Im into Air rifles and powder burners...

Are you looking for a pistol or rifle... c02, Springer or high pressure air?
Just getting into it for fun or interested in shooting comps?

We have monthly fun shoots at the local range (niagara area) and its a blast(no pun);)

I can point you in the right direction.. pm me or email me druidb19@hotmail.com

I've done a bit of airsoft myself. I got 2 Gas Glock 17's and a spring Desert Eagle. Used to play in the summer with friends but havent gone in a while. Let me know if you can get more ppl involved.

Ahh i just saw that your in Barrie... yea thats kind of a far drive for a few hours of shooting..

What are you using to plink with atm?

And what types of air rifles/pistols are you interested in?

Spring, Co2, or High pressure air? .177 or .22 cal? (or other)

I can recomend some good air guns if i know what your after and what your purpose is.. just fun plinking, comp or hunting/pest control

Im also very good friends with some well respected Airgun Smiths if your looking for a custom tune or mod

Just got the Walther CP99 Compact.

Went for realism instead of accuracy

Hehe... unfortunatly many people make the mistake of going for looks over accuracy, trigger feel, and power.

The point of plinking targets is accuracy... its impossible to be accurate with the trigger on the CP99...

I have a marksman 2004
http://sunshineairguns.net/catalog/images/marksman2004.jpg

It shoots about 410ft/sec with a .177 cal pellet. its pretty accurate and fun, but one shot per reload isn't always the most fun. I'd be tempted to look at the c02 next time around

I hear in the summer, there's a club that does an open house day outside of the GTA where you can pay-per-shot with real guns...anyone know a little more?

Sounds like Target Sports Center, they're located north of Markham in Gormley.

I guess it depends on what you consider accurate... if an airgun cant stack match grade pellets into the same hole from 10m i dont consider it accurate.. but im :loco
