The guys over at MSF are all for shitz and gigglez about 90% of what we talk about (cars, money, politics, women, etc.)...but that doesn't stop all the progress the enthusiasts have been making with the AP and ATR. Now that with LC and FFS available, the need for live map switching has been even greater...any one up for some Danger to Manifold, Floorboard Flyin' Fun?...lol...

seems like there's work on making live map switching available...thru a collection of MSF'ers (I like saying that a little too much), rose Nator Performance to mock and urge aftermarket companies to fall inline with the wishes of the community. Some of these guys are real smart...and I'm glad we may enjoy the fruits of their labour...

yeah, someone will get sued. Hacking or Reverse engineering is illegal last time I checked.

But still would be nice to have. Right now it takes 2 mins to flash.

...plus 100km of driving for it to learn AND a 25% hit in fuel economy while it's learning.

it's been happening to me. I've read that the engine actually gives a visual signal if it's done "learning", thru the engine light. But what hurts most is that I usually lose about 80 - 100km of gas mileage everytime I flashed. The 2 weeks that I was flashing when I first started messing with ATR, I averaged ~ 330km/tank of NORMAL driving...and no, I wasn't drag racing every car I saw on Hwy 7.

lol im lucky if I get 330 a tank. Only time I do better is when it's 100% highway.

I notice the same thing too. I have been flashing a lot as I tune with ATR, and now with the LC and FFS. I am rarely getting over 360 per tank. And before I was getting typically over 500 on 94octane. this is mostly highway.

On the other hand I am starting to love fooling with ATR.
