I bought my M3 GS in Windsor. They were great. Send 6 Mazda site "get a quote" requests to dealers in SW Ontario. I live in London. Windsor was the best to deal with via email and a few talks I had on the phone. Went to the London Mazda and they were awesome in person when I took some test drives but when it came down to emailing me a quote - well I'm still waiting for it and this was in May. Windsor has it together when it comes with dealing with potential customers who have questions via the internet. So, I went to Windsor and got my M3 two weeks ago!

Waterloo is another who was good to deal with via the internet and email.

I work nights with rotating days off and whatnot and email is the easiest way to communicate with the outside world. Not to mention I was in the midst of packing and moving when I was making my quote requests. I thought I would put all the dealers on the same playing field (including London) and request a quote via the internet.

Windsor was by far the best to communicate with. Great to deal with in person too. Windsor was willing to bring a car to London for me to test drive or asked if I wanted them to anyways and the general manager was willing to drive my car to Chatham for me to pick it up, save me two hours on a return trip, but I declined. Again, they are great to deal with!

hmmm this is really surprising... as i find I live in windsor and purchased my 3 at windsor mazda... purchasing was all great..very helpful .blah blah..

But wait till you start going in for recalls, oil changes and what not.. probably the worst customer service I've seen of any establishment.. (not a fair comparison..but I found mcdonalds to have better customer service)

I've had my fair share of horror stories from there.. and vowed never to return or do business with them again

All servicing and warranty work will be done in London. I'm like a 5 min. drive from London Mazda (Probart). The sales in Windsor were great, we'll see how the service is in London!!

thats cool.. I'm just trying to warn a fellow Mazda owner... the service there is just horrible... I went in 9 times to get a backwindshied ticking noise fixed... and yet no fix.. and after one of the services they left all parts unattached and the back seat completely filthy.

I was just so pissed off at them that I ended up taking the problem up with Mazda of Canada

Thanks for the heads up!! I've heard mixed things about Probart but I won't draw any conclusions until I deal with them!

Bwwuuaahh oh man.. yea, Windsor Mazda has an awesome sales team..
The service team however, is complete waste of skin and life.. everyone except for two mechanics and the parts guy..

The two service reps have no idea what "MAP" or "Extended Warranty" means..

Last time I got the "oh, 62k, that's out of warranty".. I was like WTF?!

Thank God Chatham Mazda is back up and running.. just go there if you don't end up liking Probart..

Last year we walked in the Windsor show room and the sales team at that moment consisted of Nancy (I think) whose usefulness was extremely dubious and english worse. We went to Banks Mazda because we'd heard great reviews about their service. They said they would drive to Windsor for service blah blah. We bought the car (2008.5 red Mazda3 sport, five speed) , then less than one month later they went tits up. A coworker of mine said that Banks was into some shady business, something along the lines of inventory not being completely accurate.

Anyway, the annoying part was that only after our first hand wash/wax of the car, I noticed that the hood had been repaired. Unless you look closely you couldn't tell, but the finish is rough and even the paint colour is different. It was brought in from another dealer, so who knows where the repair actually happened.

When I took it to Windsor for my first oil change and pointed it out they said there was nothing that they could do for me because I bought it at Banks.

A few oil changes later they were so kind to change the license plate cover from Banks to Windsor without me noticing until I got it home. We're so pissed. We completely resent Windsor Mazda.

Now my neighbour just informed me that it looks like it's leaking. Two days after an oil change at 25K is pretty suspicious. Ofcourse service is never open anytime that's convenient, oh like weekends.

All in all, we haven't been screwed, yet...But can't say I'm dazzled by them.

Very odd.. just so your aware, Chatham Mazda is open; same great service department and team.
The story you heard about "inventory and shady business" is not true. It had to do with the fact Mazda Canada wanted a new structure built and the owners at the time weren't generating enough money because of the economic downturn to justify spending $3million to build a new facility.
They ran out their contract and went into receivership because its easier to let an incorporated business go under than it is to liquidate your assets or what you have on the lot because the banks will always come back to collect if you've sold inventory for less than cost.
