Technically UFO doesnt mean aliens :P it's just commonly associated with aliens. Just means the object is unidentified

I am from ottawa and I have not followed this news anymore. From what I've read, witnesses saw a flash of light, some heard a lound bang and a splashing shound. The police (RCMP or OPP) seached the reported area in the river and found nothing. The news died down afterwards.

Maybe the people who reported this incident were on crack......
