Hi everyone, wondering if anyone could help me with this....
I have a 2006 Mazda 3 GS, my doors used to get automatically locked when I started driving, but recently I found that they dont do that anymore. I can still push the lock button and they will lock...I heard that I might have triggered some "combo" in the key fob and turned it off.. anyone know the solution to this one??? appreciated.....

By default, no Mazda3 have their doors lock automatically when you shift into gear or reach a certain speed while driving. The most common way to get this done on our car is to install an car alarm system that has this feature. So maybe you would like to tell us which car alarm you have installed on your Mazda3?

Yeah, from what I know no stock Mazda3 would automatically lock the doors after you start accelerating.
It is possible tho. As the post above mentioned, that is one possibility. Another is to check thespeedline store on ebay.ca, he sells a kit from japan that automatically locks the doors on accelerations over 12km/hr. It unlocks when you turn the key off. (I think it should unlock when you put it in park/or emergency brake for those who drive standard)

It sells for around 50.00 USD + shipping.

The 2010s have speed sensing door locks, standard on all trims.
