I think it's time I upgrade my stock shocks after 4 years. I have Eibach Pro-kits on my stock shocks right now (prior to this, i had s-techs on stock shocks :S) and I just came back from a trip to Niagara. All the bumps on the highway really &%$# up my shocks. How do the rest of your modified highway users do it? Sometimes I see a bump on the highway that's the size of a big speed bump that extends across all lanes and going over those bumps at 120km/h just hurts the hell out of my car.

My ride feels like it fell apart after this trip and I'm guessing it has something to do with my stock shocks.

Any suggestions on which brand shocks will go well with the Eibach Pro-kits?

Mazdaspeed shocks? Koni-FSD? Koni Yellows? Any other ones?

If anyone is running Pro-kits and any of the above shocks, please share your ride experiences :)

1 - koni yellows
2 - mazdaspeed

The yellows are amazing on the hard setting. Mazdaspeeds are a good balance between handling and comfort. I have no experience with Bilsteins but I've read good things about them. If you want cheap replacements I still have my stock struts/shocks with about 16k on them.

Doesn't Eibach make shocks/struts to go with the Pro Kit? (Pro dampers or something like that)

There's also the Koni pack, which are prokits+yellows.

I have the Yellow Koni's and did some research on various sites and found them to be one of the best rated shocks/struts. Plus the cost was pretty reasonable considering I alreadypurchased and installed prokits a few months before.

Thanks everyone for the reply. This might be a nub question, but is it bad to drive with say Koni Yellows in the winter?
