View Full Version : Clunking noise from the driver's side
Just as the title says i've had this for a while just now got around to try to getting it fixed..........
I already changed the sway bar links stabalizer , the bushing mounting and the strut .
The noise is still there ........... :bang :flaming
Do you guys have any sugestions what it could be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check your engine mounts. All of them.

Do you know if your strut is leaking? After 20k KM i had somewhat of a clunking noise from the front drivers side and it ended up being the strut. Check to see if there is any fluid on the strut body.

Crap. Just re-read what you wrote and you already replaced the strut.

Prior to having my inner CV boot replaced I had a clunking noise especially when backing up. Now its disappeared... maybe its that?
I appreciate all the advice ,and its back to the shop tomorrow.
I' ll keep you guys posted..

Just letting you guys know i got the problem fixed my mechanic finally figuered it out it was 3 fu**ing 10mm screws under the front front cowl by the windshield...........
These are the most expensive 3 10mm screws in my life .........
