I imagine it would be the button switch, which I don't really mind, less confusing..... cuz clearly I get very overwhelmed/confused as soon as I set foot in my car. (So many buttons to push, switches to switch, knobs to turn.... *amused*) :chuckle

Actually, I dont mind the switch as long as the damn thing works hahahaha ! But oh man... I'm still scared to mess with the battery cable or else my RPMs will go crazy ! If there's ANY way at all that this can be installed without taking out the battery cables, I'm so in !

I'm not sure. I asked Joe and he said in my case, maybe I shouldnt try it out because I cant afford to stall this car now LOL.

I didnt know they came pre-wired. In my case though... I think it's best to stay away from electrical mods for the time being... this is the same reason why I won't put HIDs on my car just yet :(

Gizzmo_jr
08-12-2009, 11:05 AM
They are pre-wired in the sense you get the wiring harness from the foglight housing back to the fuse panel I think. I don't know if you get the signal wire up to the steering column or not. I think you do, but you gotta buy the stalk thou.

k-existence
08-12-2009, 11:18 AM
I read somewhere the 04-06 are not pre-wired... but the 07+ are prewired... just a plug and play? I could be wrong...

the other place was ebay and there is a local dealer I could pick up fogs from them in North York and get Dan to install them.

jus waiting for peter to reply...

Omg, I didnt realize they were THAT scattered ! Um, yeah... get those shields lol but that's CRAZY visibility. It'll help me a lot when I drive home from a closing shift as the roads I take barely have any lights on them and the pylons everywhere dont help :(

Gizzmo_jr
08-20-2009, 09:14 AM
Fog lights should be wide and low, below the low beam line.
Extra light at night not in the city is fine, but be mindful of other drivers.

towelsnap
08-23-2009, 08:01 AM
Again please note this is only with HIDS.. with reg bulbs its not as bright nor blinding. Overall the fogs I am pleased with . and would recommend for an inexpensive mod and that helps with visibility.

Harbour Rat
08-23-2009, 08:24 PM
Wow, even with HIDs my fog lights didn't do anything like what Gizzmo_jr posted. The HIDs were brighter than the halogens but they didn't shoot light way up in the air like that. My pattern was the same as with halogens, fairly flat across the top and about half as high as the low beams. That wild spray of light up the front of the garage looks like my high beams do now with 55 watt HIDs.
