Hello all, I don't post that much on this site, but visit almost everyday to stay in touch with regards to what other Mazda 3 owners are talking about and to pick up some tips :)
With that being said, I am sad to say this past weekend I noticed rust forming on both of my rear wheel wells, what are my options with regards to getting this taken care of?
Also, I have the dreaded seal belt buckle squeak on both driver and passenger side and lastly my sunroof when tilting makes a horrible sound, even after I tried lubricating it.
I bought my car from Avante but really don't want to go back because I am not happy with their service.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi,
We are more than happy to have you come by Avante and speak to our service manager (Ted). He will inspect your vehicle on site and give you an answer and options towards the rust situation.
Thanks,

Update to an old thread...
Mazda Canada has agreed to take care of the rust issues I have on my car.
The car is going in for repiars for the rust on the rear wheel panels (both sides) at Carstar in Markham, they have told me the work will take 3-4 days.
My question to the fourm is am I entitled to a loaner vehicle?

As I understand it, you are not entitled to a loaner while the car is getting fixed for rust.

No I did not purchase M.A.P.
Is this not a warrenty claim?

The MAP will entitle you to a rental when getting it fixed.

The MAP will entitle you to a rental when getting it fixed.
Isn't that a bit silly? They acknowlege that the rust is a manufacturing defect and will cover the cost of the repair, but won't foot the bill for a rental for the week while it's repaired? Wow. Talk about "taking the GM way out".
