Vertical Molding on rear doors have rust

So yea..... never would of thought my car would get rust so soon but others have had worse luck than me.

Anyways, my vertical molding decides to rust on me recently and I thought, oh right, Mazda has a 5year/unlimited corrosion warrenty or something like that. So i didnt care much.

Now I visited the Airport Mazda today (my 3year/80k expired back in April) and they told me that the warrenty is only for the sheet metal on the body. So if the door rusts, any part that is attached to the door is covered. But now, the piece that decides to rust on my car is NOT one piece with the car. So its not covered. The piece is inexpensive ~$20 for each side but I need 2.

Did anyone else have this problem and did they get their part replaced?

If your refering to the window seperater on the back doors, yup, had it on my driver's side and got Ontario Mazda to change it out and was all covered by Mazda Canada.
