It still dumpfounds me that people 'Text' while thier driving or yap on the phone with the friggen phone stuck to thier ear! I've come to the point where I actually yell at these mofo's when I see them texting....(as thier most often driving irratically).
When are people going to realize how dangerous it is and start concentrating on driving!!...Even sitting at a light it's not safe!!
If someone texts/phones you while your driving...WAIT till you can stop somewhere safe and text/call back!!....That small decision could mean someone's life! ...Maybe a child's God forbid!!
I can't wait till the law comes into effect, I'll be reporting these Mother****er's all the time, seriously, it eerks me that much :flaming
Take driving seriously or take the bus, that's my motto!

I thought the cell phone law is already in place when driving? I think the ban on usage of all handheld electronic devices is pending.

Holy s**t that hits hard. If it wasn't bad enough they showed the baby and that sent me over the edge. I have a 7 month old with bright blue eyes.....Very powerful. Should show that in schools if they don't already!!!!

Video reminds me of a younger Towlsnap back in his days with his old car. Tisk tisk, he's still bad for texting but not like he used too
I dont know how i feel about this video... it really made me sad. But I try to avoid texting while driving at all costs cus i know how you can start to drift while youre doing it.

I believe it is for this October 2009 before it comes into effect. Even then how will they be able to enforce it ( a la hot/snitchline ) as it's not like you're driving under the influence. The law will be helpful only after an accident when they can subpoena for your cell usage records. You already have the redlight runners, failure to yield to pedestrians at the intersection, driving without a license/under suspension/no insurance, various other driving distractions in the car, etc etc etc........

All lame jokes aside, use your bluetooth and save texting for out of the car

I have no co ordination whatsoever in terms of driving and textnig at the same time... so I try not to. If anything, I just pull over if I really need to send a text (last time I did that I got a flat running over a nail :blush )
I would use blue tooth, but it drains my battery to quickly.
I would use the speaker phone, but I find that rude to those on the other end.
(... yeah I complain/ whine too much)

Wicked short ad/short movie
I loved the sense of realism to the accident.. That will make people think
The only issue i have with it, is that the girl was texting, it didnt look too real.. dunno how to explain it. Butwhen most people text and drive their attention is on the road and the phone.. In this case it looked like she only focusedon the phone.
I admit i txt and drive sometimes on the 401.. but only when the roads are open, never in rush hour. i do it sometimes at a red light (not too often)
but I am aware of of the road and the phone.. I never fully focus on the phone..
And if you do txt and drive (sometimes) make sure ur phone has a damn keyboard..
but hey txting, 3 girls, europe and a shit ass excuse for a car what do you expect:chuckle

Nah, it doesn't depend on how you "look" at things. Karma is a bitch if you are a bitch. It's a blessing if you're a blessing. Also whatever you do comes back multiplied like crazy. If it doesn't happen now, it'll catch up sooner or later.
I learned my lesson. I don't f**k around anymore lol. Just my 2 cents.
Back to texting and driving, one solution is speech-to-text apps like V-Lingo (Blackberry). It actually does a pretty good job so you'll look at the screen less and the road more.
