Last month, I went to Nissan dealer who show off the electronic rust module in the new car and said its replaces the rust proof. Similar one from ebay.

Has anyone try it ? And how it works. Thanks. HTC

There's been a lot of discussions in the past about this type of module. Do a search on this forum and you'll find lots of info.

In the end, the general consensus is that these devices will not work because a car would literally need to be buried in the ground or underwater for the circuit to complete and for the device to be effective.

after closer inspection and driving with this device for 42000km I noticed little things like bolts, that are not attached to vehicles frame directly - would rust. Other then that, my car was like new, without a single spot or rust. Its like it came off the lot just now. Also I did spray my car before winter.
Does it work? Not really, but I got it because dealership gives 10 years rust free warranty and ups a value to your car if you decide to sell it.
