Gunmetal Blue or Graphite Mica ??

I had my sights set on Graphite Mica, but I was at a dealership today and saw the gunmetal blue. The graphite didn't look as good as I thought it would( still nice though) and the gunmetal blue looked pretty good. It was a sunny day, but now my mind is playing tricks with me. Any opinions??

If you get the gunmetal blue you'd be the first owner of one on TM3. Personally, I love the gunmetal blue colour and even though I own a galaxy grey 3 the colour is much too played out in Mazda these days. On the 3 alone they have had 7 different shades of grey in it's five year lifetime.

I think the gunmetal blue is a very unique colour and if I was in the market for a 2010 3 I would be getting that. Just my 0.02!

are we talking about celestical blue here? I did not see anyoptions for a gunmetal blue? If it is the celestical blue I personally hate it and think it is the worst colour they have come up with. Its not really a blue its not really a green its like a colour gone wrong lol

It's almost similar to the blue on the Speed3's- just a bit darker I think.

I am picky with paint as once you own it your stuck with it lol. Or you could poay a body shop a stupid amount of money to get it repainted and properly not half assed lol

I'd go for graphite Mica...cause it's what I went with! Even still it graphite mica wasn't my first choice...it was my gf's first choice...the graphite was my second choice.

I personally don't like the gunmetal very much at all.

The Graphite Mica looks a different shade in different light, so say's my friend. Unusal looking color. Love it anyways, since I have it. The other color is just a fad..

I'd say do what I did and go for the unusual uncommon color in the end it gets NOTICED quite a lot...BLUE all the WAY!!

My car is an 09 Metropolitan grey, and when I saw it inside the dealership, I knew i wanted it since it was a really dark grey with a little green.

However, when I finally bought my car in 09 and picked it up on a nice sunny day, all I saw was the green and didn't like it that much.........

Yikes, that's disappointing since colour is so important to me. I have Cosmic Blue with no regrets. Metro Grey is cool but super plain. I really like the Gunmetal Blue.

The blue looks really nice in person... I saw it on a 3 at night and it seemed a lot lighter compared to that photo. My dads truck is similar to that blue as well, and it actually hides bumps and bruises (and dirt) very well!

Graphite mica is nice, but get something more unique so you can pick your car out easily in a parking lot over a sea grey cars :chuckle

You can't go wrong with either, I have a preference for aluminum metallic mica, but if you can't get that, the graphite is a close second.:star

Wife likes the colour because it looks brownish in the light and grey in the shade and black at night. now what might help you is ask if there is any graphite meca in the model and options you want. i know we had to jump to the gt because there was only 3 gs manual confort and they were out west.

Agreed. BAN IT. Such an overused waste of type. I don't have a degree in it or anything, but I know enough to get by and I would never ever ever think to use CS on anything. I also get pissed when my mom emails me in comic sans. DELETEEEEE. hahhahahah :bang

I went with the gunmetal. Long story short, I had a choice between the graphite or the gunmetal. I realy liked the graphite, but:
1) graphite (or that dark grey) is way to common all cars these days
2) when I looked at the graphite car and the gunmetal blue car that had been sitting outside in the dealership for the same amount of time, the gunmetal looked WAY WAY WAY cleaner. (its like the new silver):bana
