I had rust repaired under warranty ... :) 2004 3.
One side Is rusting again ... same spots ... I wonder if they extend warranty for the repair ... Or I need to start looking after a body shop :)

I would talk to Karen at Agincourt Mazda.... She can check for you... You just have to give her your veh Vin#

Every Mazda dealership outsources their bodywork. Agincourt Mazda is the only one that has its own paintshop and collison centre inhouse. I've seen their workmanship on my car and its top notch. I will be going there after this coming winter to have my bood and bumper repainted.

How long has it been since you got all your rust fixed?

The service has been leaps and bounds above anything I have experienced in my 21 years of owning a car. Quality of the work has been top notch. Even fixed problems without me asking. Karen, Amanda, the service and collison team have helped me with everything I have asked. And it wasn't until today that I actually spent money at the dealership. I have full confidence that they will stand by their work.

According to my understanding Mazda only uses body shops that have lifetime warranty? My car is going back... rust started to re-appear but its been MONTHS since I've had it fixed

Mazda Kitten - Same here :) And we used same Body shop :) As far as I know :)
Maybe we should pay them a visit together lol !

Rust is like Cancer. Once it starts, it is very hard to get rid of it.

As for the workmanship, yes wait one year and see what the results are like.

If they will cover .. it .. I will bring them some POR15 to prep metal and rust will never show up ... If it was preped bad ... those are the results ...

You can fight rust those days really well but .. You cant just scrape and re paint ...
