Calling all 09 owners

I'm hoping anyone with an 09 5sp can lend me a hand. I have one that has an a/c compressor that recycles every 20 seconds like clockwork. I can hear it as well as feel it as a slight hesitation in the drivetrain. This is my second Mazda3, the other one being an 06 that did not have this issue. The dealership has been trying very hard to find out the problem. They have replaced the compressor and then replaced the oil on a second try. They are trying to find out now if the sound is normal for that year. That''s proving hard as all of the 09's have been sold and it's a little early to have some as trade-in's. I don't think so, so what I'm asking is if there is anyone else out there with a 5sp 09 that has this sound. If I could get a few people to take a little test drive with their air on that would really help alot. The sound is very similar to a turbo pressure release. It lasts about a second.

Any help would be great.

Hey I have this issue, well I never thought it was an issue until you brought it up. But yes, I feel it in my feet when I'm on the brake pedal at a light and the AC is on or something. I'd love to know if this is a problem or if it is standard.

I have an 09 MZ3 Sport btw (5 speed)

My 06 5sp is the same thing. I think its normal for this car. Its really annoying so I just avoid turning the AC on

This only happens when there is a load on the motor. Sitting at a light or in neutral there is nothing. But please keep the posts coming.
