Just wondering if Mazda offers it and how much it will cost me.

yes, mazda sells the kit and it's not cheap... but if you have it installed at the same time you buy your car, you won't hardly see it in your car payments and it'll be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty instead of 1 year

We sure do, you get the same fogs as the GT and a new steering headlight switch.

The kit is $342.07 plus tax for parts only.

damm that's a lot, do the new switches also add cruise control or audio controls or just the lights?

If you buy the fogs during the time of the vehicle purchase the parts carry the same basic 3yr/80,000km warranty. If purchased after sale then it only has a 1yr/20,000km warranty.

I was looking for fog lights for 2010 Mazda 3 GS. They look the same as the fog lights on the GT model. Thomas at Avante Mazda quoted me at $470 for fog lights, switched and labour. I was going to get them in August but I got nailed with a speeding ticket, guess I'll wait a little longer for them. They look great.

I am also looking into getting the fog lights installed for my Mazda 2010 GS and Mountain Mazda in Hamilton quoted me $400 installed. Hopefully he didn't screw up on the price...makes me wanna go ask them again.

Only thing he asked me is if my lights were automatic which I dunno why that would matter?

Both the GS and GT come with fog lights already only the GX does not have them.

Fog lights come on the GT sedan, GT Sport, and GS Sport but not the GS sedan so that's the confusion. They aren't cheap but do look nice and can be added to the GX sedan, GX Sport, and GS sedan. It is cheaper to add them to the GX models because there's another switch to buy for the GS because of the auto headlights.

Wow, old thread.

Anyway, if you don't mind not having control over your foglights, you can save money on buying the stalk and just wire your foglights to the parking lights.

I understand your idea to save money, but why would you do that when you could wire it to a $2 switch instead, if the OEM stalk is too much $$.

That also just sounds like a bad idea since you would never be able to turn them off since they would always come on when you turn your headlights on.
