Any Ideas

Yesterday the drivers side window stopped working .
I can still hear the switch opening when i press the button but the window will not go down .................
Any suggestions on what it could be ,it would be appreciated .........

Do the other windows work? And when you say you can hear the switch operating... do you mean you can here the window motor making sounds?

Did the window fall out of its track and get lodged in an up position?

Have you taken the door cover off to see if you can see what is happening?

Just an update ...........
I think my car id hunted ,i took iti to my mechanic today he took out the door panel and the window's motor,then he put all together and the dam thing was working like new .
He did absolutely nothing ...
I appreciate the comments though............ :headbang
