Hello to everyone!
Just picked up my new 2010 Mazda S GTE (First time Mazda owner)
I have about 300km on the car now and notice I have a vibration once I hit 100km. Do you think that it will get better over time due to small flat spot or should I have the dealer check the balancing? Does anyone know of a good Mazda dealer that can actually do a decent balance job?
In addition to that, I just used my wipers for the first time and they are so noisy!!! When they reach the upper part of the window (point where they turn back) they make a squishy sound that is annoying as hell. Any recommendations for this?
Thanks everyone!

Sounds like the tires need balancing for sure. You may also need an alignment too, as often the cars are knocked out of alignment during shipping transport. This is all covered under your free adjustment period of your warranty. All Mazda dealers can do balancing and adjustement, so go to the dealer closest to you ,or that you trust.
I don't have a 2010, so can't comment on the wipers, but good luck.

UPDATE****
Took my car back to the dealership today with only 450 km to address the tire vibration on the highway.
They actually corrected the issue with one visit i was very impressed.
Problem was the following
The balancing on 2 tires was off AND.....
There is an update to the computer on the 2010 Mazda 3 with rough vibration at highway speeds. They re-programmed the computer with the latest firmware and bada boom bada bing she is SMOOOOOOOTH!!!!!

Glad to hear the vibration issue was fixed. Did they say anything about the wipers?

Hi there!
Thanks for asking....actually, they got a lot better. I think there was a wax on the window and now that I used them a lot on the weekend they have improved!
This morning when I turned on my heater the fan was making this terrible flapping sound almost as if you were touching the fan blade with a piece of paper. This is the first time my car sat outside and it was a bit cold this morning. The noise lasted for about 2 min then went away. I do however hear a squeaking sound all the time when the fan is running.
I hope I dont run into any more problems, I purchased this car as my friends have one and have had minor to no issues. I came from a 2008 Altima Coupe....Terrible CVT transmission and rattles everywhere!
Have a good one! Talk soon :)

Tire Vibration came back again..... This is making me quite angry and depressed at the same time as I have only had this car for 2 weeks. Today the dealer took 4 RIMS/TIRES off another Mazda 3 and put them on my car. Before the put them on they checked the balancing. I noticed that on 3 wheels I have weights in the 12 o'clock and 4 o'clock position and the car still vibrates from 100km onwards.
This is crazy! Either they cant balance tires correctly, another set of defective tires or there is something wrong with the car.
This story continues.......
As for this wiper noise it sounds like the linkage is going to break any time, this also needs to be addressed.
I should of kept my 08 altima with its shitty CVT transmission!
Again, these are 17" rims with yokohalma tires.
Please reply to this if you have any advise on what to do.

Let the dealer work it out. New model and New cars sometimes have annoying problems. You only had it, what, two weeks? Your dealer seems to want to get this fixed for you.
When I got my 2007, I could not use the drivers side sun visor, it would not come down, not matter what.
Its not like the internet, no instant gratification.

Sean,
I'm having the same problem with my 2010 Mazda 3 GT 5-door. What ever happened with your car. Did you get the problem resolved?
Thanks,
Rob
