+1 on the brakes + rotors, although taking those off would be a bit noisier than just the rims..

i guess that's what you get for having a car like that without a proper alarm with a shock sensor.

the wheel lock probably broke off as they were taking it off, plus if you have a car like that I hope that you'd have money to buy a garage for it at night, and when you're driving around town have enough money for valet parking where there should be someone to take care of it.

^ It's funny when people say things like this (not to pick on you Ryan as I have seen that same comment on other boards) but when my truck got broken into and later my 3 people told me it was my fault for having an attractive car that other people want stuff from.

I don't buy into that I worked for what I have and now I am not allowed to have it because of thieves? Or because this guy didn't get wheel nuts and decided to hold his neighbours/neighbourhood as a bunch of thieves he deserves to be victimized?

If anything it is all of our faults for being so leniant on crimes such as these.

Unless it was rented, I can't see the owner agreeing to let them drop his car on the rotors like that. Or resting it on blocks like that... The car was lifted/supported from the center of the frame, that can't be good for the car...

From a comment I read on jalopnik his friend took the pics and he parks in his garage now.

That sucks. Seems a bit fake too me. Neighbourhood seems pretty nice too me for something like that to go on, and im pretty sure that the rims had locks on them from the factory.
