Another ridiculous tasering incident, this time south of the border.
As the new cell-phone ban kicks in next month in Ontario think of this story if you decide to quickly call someone while driving:

I hope that cop enjoyed his career...

At least the great-grandma was being belligerent... this one is ridiculous.

She should have stayed in the car but the cop still had no right to taser.

Wow. What ever happened to pepper spray? Police forget they have that? Or just simply writing someone a ticket and letting them be on their way?
I respect Police Officers no matter what, even if they stop me and ticket me for no reason. They have the power and always will. If there is ever a case which is so bad the officer is completely rude, you sue them personally. Just say yes officer, and keep going.

She probably didn't *have* to be tasered, and the altercation could have been prevented if both parties chilled out for a moment, but honestly, I'm sure this woman wasn't as angelic as the article is making her out to seem. Ohh victim! victim! victim! Pfft.
All she had to do was stay in her car and suck it up for the time being.
First it was talking on a cell phone...........but wait she didn't have a cell phone. Then he tries to give her a speeding ticket for doing 45mph in a 50 zone? Still she should know better than to get out of her car, that was the only mistake she made.

I have a lot of respect for Police in general. There are :AH's everywhere of course, police included. This guy certainly wins an :AH:winner trophy for sure.
That said, I think I need me one of these Taser devices for my upcoming performance reviews. Would really come in handy here at work.

Is it just me or did she take the tasering really well?
