And the list of artists/songs that you can mix is pretty sweet. Jurassic 5, Daft Punk, Fedde Le Grand, DJ Shadow, Herbie Hancock, MC Mother Effin' Hammer. hahahaha

My Review.

First impression even picking it up from eb games
"How the hell am I gonna carry this in the mall????"

Size of the box is as big as the beatles limited edition kit, but a bit wider.

After opening the box, it came nicely packaged with, you guessed it another box.

In this box housed the turntable case and all its accessories. Pretty much compact and stored in its own compartment.

What it comes with:

decals to change the center vinyl label to display either "renegade" presently on the vinyl, eminem, or Jayz's name.

Instructions (didnt need to read)

the jayz eminem greatest hits, and unreleased tracks cd pack

DJ Hero game disc

and batteries.

On the right side is the turntable in all its glory. glossy black and gold accented fader. (painted i guess)

What I didnt know about this Renegade edition was the turntable case acts a table. under the turntable and accessories is 4 table legs you attach under the case.

Feels like your a real DJ.

Review on game:

So far I have tried the tutorial and 2 track lists on medium. I must say it takes some hand eye co ordination for the faster beats.

Pretty cool the concept, and I dont think ill be bored anytime soon.

A lot of DJ's I know had mixed emotions, but after hearing their review its pretty close to real life... What they wished it had was automatic spinning and force feedback when scratching.

hahahahah it looks decent and I'm a huuuuuge fan of the music and scratchin . But .... $200 is a high price for this.... maybe they should come with drums and a guitar too haha

^ its $129 for the regular edition (non-renegade), price is still a bit steep but tis fun to play...
picked my copy up yesterday, its pretty fun, good track list, fun to play (until Modern Warfare 2 comes)

haha... no .. maybe i just have bad luck?
there are no small children playing it and i know that the people who do don't play it by smashing the buttons. that's why i don't get it it! it's really upsetting though.

Tried it last night at Best buy and found it a bit hard to get used to. Wasnt overly excited for it, but Ive got DJ hero on the brain today! So ima go grab this after work (Non-renegade edition for the PS3)

Something has to be said for playing real turntables.

The next generation are going to be pathetic if this is all they do all day...not saying the game doesn't look entertaining but...I mean it's bad enough they made a fishing game!
