I just came home from work today to find out the passenger side map light does not light up. I did some troubleshooting and used the left one which is lighting up and swapped the bulbs and it still does not light up. I took the passenger light and swapped it to the driver side and the bulb lit up which did not on the passenger side. Is there a wire thats loose? I did not touch anything since the last time I replaced my halogens with LEDs...hope I did not blow anything.

They are both fused together, so shouldn't be a blown circuit.

Each maplight has its own diode so to isolate them when you use the manual switch to turn them on.....

I tried the switch and it would not light up even when I swapped to the working bulb. I can't see it dying out all of a sudden like that.

Blown diode would keep it from working.... other than that they are essentially connected in parallel.

Meaning a blown bulb? Hmmm I notice the switch does not light up even with a working bulb. Could it be the black piece I use when I slot my LED in?

If you switch the bulbs and it still doesn't work then the problem is not the bulb. So it's either the wiring for this particular socket, the socket itself, or the diode as Noisy Crow said.
Try this: put the supposed bad bulb from the passenger side into the drive side. Does it work there? If so, then the problem is definitely the wiring/diode/socket.
