Good Experience at Scarboro Mazda

My wife and I did the most painless of deals with Al Pountney at Scarboro Mazda and he secured one of the few Celestial Blue GT Sports with manual, Lux and GT-E packs out there - with a lead time of less than 6 weeks.

The financials were great too.

A relaxed, informed and thoroughly nice guy - no hesitation in recommeding him (heck, my wife even took him home-made muffins)!

Can't wait till the car finally arrives on the forecourt from Vancouver...

I don't want to rain on your parade and I hope I"m being cautious for no reason, but watch out for any shenanigans once your ready to take delivery, and see what the people in the service department are like, because after you take delivery those are the people that will be taking care of your baby

Oh and I meant to ask - what shenanigans on delivery should I look out for - my wife can be a rottweiler, so it's best to get the handy hints...

just look things that "pop" up during pdi "pre delivery ispection" make sure that the floor matts and such are there, that the warranty starts the day that the car was picked up not the day that it was bought! That and the regular kind of upselling that they always do right before you get into and drive off the car. steering wheel covers, upgraded shift knobs, satelitte radio subscription

Thanks Froggy...when the day arrives to pick it up...we'll look out for all the issues...we elected to pay them $3075 down to reduce the payment over 60 months, so not one cent more will change hands...

Service will be near the airport BTW....
