If ever your fog light lens gets cracked or smashed by a rock, you can't just simply replace the lens, you have to replace the whole fog light. I'm not complaining here, it is what it is, but $204? for one light? I'll just blame the wife but $204 seems a little expensive. Not sure how much the dealership will charge me for the install. Hopefully it's not that hard to install myself.

more the reason why protection film is a necessary "mod" for any new car owner!

Film doesn't help that much. It may reduce the chance of it cracking from a rock but it won't prevent it. A $10 piece of film though is worth a try if there is a chance it will save you $200+.

Did you get the foglight at an affiliate dealership with the TM3 discount? If not return it and get the discounted price.

Where can one get the protection film in Toronto? is it the 3M one? I've tried looking before but to no success. Thanks!
