You know the famous soccer announcer (football to you internationals), Andrés Cantor, who screams "Goooooaaaallllll" after a score? A bit of performance genius has had some Japanese drift announcers overcome in similar ecstasy. When M. Kawabata launched his Nissan S13 (a 240 SX to us Yanks) into the corner, he threw the car around so quickly the rear end enters the turn first -- and then he kept it under control. It's being called "drifting history" and "the perfect drift" and "the best drift ever." Make the jump to see the vid and judge for yourself.

That was amazing. What gets me is how little work he did with the wheel!!! Like no correction at all! It was all throttle!

Well, when you've already hit steering lock and you need more, there isn't much more you can do with the wheel.

Check this one out. Watch what he does at the end of the video on such a narrow road.

DAMN!!!

On a side note, those spectators are crazy! Way too much trust in someone they have never met behind the wheel of a car flying by them so close! :loco
