Mazda showcases two 2010 Mazda3-based cars at the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. They are built on the Mazda3 2.5-litre and the MazdaSpeed3, both of which offer good basis for tuning purposes.

The team painted the cars in a Crystal White Pearl base coat with soft grey tone graphics to mimic the Mazda3 World Challenge race car while the front grille inserts, side mirrors, fog lamp bezels and the roof panel went black. The windows are also tinted and the red taillight lenses darkened. Wheels and tyres used are 19x8-inch rims with 225/40-19 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A respectively.

The sedan got a boost of power through a turbo unit and now pushes out 184kW (250hp). Its suspension system was upgraded to KW Suspension double-adjustable coil-overs and a Tri-Point adjustable rear stabiliser bar.
The MazdaSpeed3 only gained 15kW (20hp) on the standard issue car but was also fitted with KW coil-overs, four-piston Stoptech calipers and modified top mounts on the front struts amongst others.

i like them. the sedan pwns the hatch big time. put a speed3 hood on the sedan and it would be killer.
the red tails suit this car big time. the clear ones looks ricy, but the red on them makes it look perfect. the back of the sedan looks like a lexus is350 or something lol

Yeah... Saw them on my friend's brother's RX-8, looks good in person. Would never pay that much for the rims though, I would just powder coat the Speed3 rims instead xD Yes, I know they are an inch smaller, but do we really need 19's on a 3? O_o

dang good call! I'll have to keep that in mind when purchasing new wheels...anyone know if these are as heavy as the MS3 stock rims?

looks 100% better from the back with those red tail lights, thats one of the things i hated about the new mz3 was the white inverted tail lights.

FINALLY!! Someone painted the back bumper on the Speed the proper colour; gray! Like the 1st gen, it looks pro! I cannot understand wtf they went to body colour on the 2010 MS3..

Saw them at SEMA.... Were pretty cool, but pale in comparrison with the other cars there.... just crazy!
