Thoughts:


Online :

= INSANE!!!! By far the best online for a FPS!!!! I do find inviting parties is a challenge, and I'm constantly getting 1000s of points for something ... xray vision or some random shit. The maps are decent, in only 2 hours of online play so far I can say I haven't played all the maps and got to a lvl 15. And I've seen people who have prestige already . The new updates for perks are nice, mind you copycat is kind of like cheating if your a lower rank lol . Mostly playing headquarters to level up fast . (codmw original had over 5 days game play so hope to play this one a lot)


Single Player

Is great.... not sure why they said the scene would be disturbing .... considering you can beat an old lady with a bat in GTA4. But the game is great... action packed and lots of blood . I like it... :) Overall the game is roughly the length of the first one and I wish they made it longer.

adds more value to the game and can't wait to try it with friends split screen/online and single player too..



Overall 10/10 some minor glitches and pop ups but overall best FPS on the market and puts most to shame... lives up to the hype and with more maps coming out well worth the money.

Single Player: Awesome. Very very very cinematic and played out like an epic action movie. I was blown away from the plot twists. BLOWN!

Multiplayer: Awesome. Much improved from old COD but what pissed me off was I had to work hard again to unlock better guns....which means more playing!!

I've only played online so far and had a blast. Mind you I was doped up on Monster energy drinks and playing until wee hours in the morning, so a review from me right now is useless.

I can't wait to play the campaign.

MP: great gameplay, lots of achievements, unlocks and weaponry. The only downfall is that the new matchmaking setup is a little slow (kinda like halo). The servers drop and are very lagged. (probably because of the sudden influx of players so this most likely will thin out. IW will patch up the rest) - XBOX LIVE btw, dunno about PSN

SP: havent played much but the parts i've played are fantastic. cinematics are well done (shocking even) and the storyline is intense.

SpecOps: also havent played much but with co-op missions ranging from near-impossible exfiltrations, terrorist eliminations (rainbow six), wave after wave of enemies (GOW horde), and timed snowmobile races, you cant really go wrong. This facet of the game will appeal to a wider variety of gamers.

we'll see what the DLC's bring to the table
overall, Great game with hours if not DAYS of gameplay value.

I was debating this because I recently upgraded my PC. I would get owned on a PC though, it's more balanced on console IMO.

Just a heads up! You can get MW2 for around $30-$40, it just takes a tiny bit of work. For today and tomorrow Best Buy has the Trade 2 get MW2 free! A list of these games i've uploaded here to a .doc file.

Print and take this list to Rogers Plus and see if you can find two of these games used. It's perfect because Rogers Plus is having a promotion right now where used Wii games are 50% off! (PS3 and XBOX360 games are 30% so go for the wii games)

Played online last night till 4am. It's sick! I love the rooftop office building map when the glass, paper, and computers are flying everywhere. Haven't touched the campaign yet. I'm finding that there is a lot less camping in MW2 compared to the MW1. In other words, you can run and gun more. The gameplay is much better than the first. Oh, and the thermal sights are sweet for sniping on the wastelands map (brecourt from the original cod).

For online BEST FPS EVER! its so sick. I really like the Terminal. Only flaw that I have encountered numerous of times is the whole party join. it took me about 4 matches to get all my friends in. I was talking to another guy in the lobby and he was encountering the same problem. But that will most likely be dealt with pretty soon. I hate campers with a passion. A couple of guys were in a house, and we just threw a crap load of stun nades in there. next thing you know it, I rush in with a Riot Sheid. BAM BAM BAM. GAME OVER. :chuckle still hyped.
