i was searching the net to get some conclusive results that are the bluetooth headset safe or not as there are many theories about the cell phone that after using cell phones for 10 years there are chances of getting some kinda tumor in some parts of our brain but i couldn't find some thing more conclusive about the bluetooth headsets. i only found this one link
http://cellphonesafety.wordpress.com/2006/09/27/what-is-bluetooth-and-is-it-safe/
but i donot know that is this website legit or no. what is your take on this issue.

Whether or not cellphones are unsafe, the Bluetooth headset would be fine, IMO. Now I'm no expert on this, but I would think this is the case because it's the transceiver in the cellphone handset itself that's supposedly the culprit. Bluetooth headsets use low-power short-waves to communicate with the cellphone, so I wouldn't think they would be (as) harmful.

You are getting cancer by using your computer. I used to work at Best Buy for about a year. That probably shortened my life by about 3 LOL

Everything gives you cancer, the computer gives you cancer, breathing dirty air gives you cancer, eating meat gives you cancer, eating vegetables gives you cancer (because of the pesticides), drinking water from a plastic bottle gives you cancer, microwaves give you cancer, flying in an airplane gives you cancer, the cell phone gives you cancer. just don't do anything in excess; eat healthy, get lots of rest, exercise and don't worry about it.

That made me lol, cuz it's so true. Funny how the media says only WATER in a plastic bottle gives cancer. What about those acidic soft drinks in plastic bottles? xD I guess they would lose all their Coke/Pepsi funding if they said something as silly as that...
Side note; I remember once, this customer went in the store, and said I want a non-wireless router. Reason being; the wifi waves will give cancer LOL
Also, that frog looks like it was on Magic School Bus before LMAO

Yes, everything will give you cancer if you expose yourself to it enough.
One thing to remember is scale. A bluetooth headset does indeed recieve and emit "radiation", however the strength at which this happens is muuuuch lower than what your cellphone emits. It also operates on the same frequency as your average household cordless phone.

The radiation is non-ionizing. It cannot cause DNA damage. Same with microwaves. Same with your cellphone itself. Same with radio signals. You're exposed to a huge amount of RF radiation all the time, but almost all of it is non-ionizing. Don't worry about it.
Biologically, everyone dies of cancer eventually. The question is whether something else kills you before cancer does.

Don't forget breathing in oxygen, sleeping, relieving yourself in the bathroom, paying your taxes, having kids, taking a shower, working out at the gym, eating bread, listening to music, renovating your home, going to a strip club, visiting your grandmother....

ha ha another chance to debate with you lol! but what about when the cheap wiring in that bluetooth headset shorts out causes it to catch on fire and then you inhale those toxic fumes and get cancer from those?
Yeah I did my Oac biology ISU on the effects of ionizing radiation on humans and the relationship to cancer.

lol - I have 5 blackberries in close proximity to me on my hotel desk right now, and blackberries are some of the highest emitters of radiation. If that doesn't fry my nads, nothing will :chuckle

We live, sleep and breathe cancer every single day, I wouldn't be worrying about a cellphone. HECK, you even have dormant cancer cells in you right now. I've got a crackberry, and have had several phones before, I would be dead.

lol - the BES/exchange admin at work has a room full of blackberries, usually all running at the same time. Sterility anyone?

That's some nasty stuff. I'm a scientist! I KNOW! It can kill you if you as much as inhale it! It's the primary component of acid rain! (Do the environmentalists talk about acid rain anymore?)
You know all those mass suicides? What do you think they dissolved the poison in? Yes, dihydrogen monoxide!
This woman died from ingesting it! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16614865/
You know that drunk driving incident that killed the passenger of Ted Kennedy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chappaquiddick_incident)? She didn't die from the car crash! She died of dihydrogen monoxide poisoning!
