Hi everyone,

I need internet at a decent speed and for a good price!
Looking to pay $30 or less a month.

Can anyone suggest a internet provider for the GTA area?
I know of Rogers and Bell (damn monopolies) ... I know of primus, acanac, teksavvy.

Let me know how much you pay a month. modem rentals. fees. installations. etc. Your opinion and SPEED!

oh yeah, i don't have a residential line, so i may need some dry loop options.

THANKS!

For 30$ per month your not going to find anything really. My family has bell and for internet phone and whatever else it's not bad. Something like 100 at most per month but thats for unlimited everything.

Teksavvy, 5Mbps, $29/mo taxes in

It's pretty quick for what I need it for, can't beat the price.

I don't get teksavy's internet prices...
I think I need the dry loop option since I don't have a residential line but what is "band rate"

and do you pay for it monthly or for one year in advance?

You have to pay the DSL rate of $29.95 (or whatever cap you choose), AND the band rate (around $15) due to not having a residential line.

Its monthly, taken off my credit card. You might want to call them up and ask about their band rate. The last time I called, their tech support guys are also their customer service reps, so you get to a reasonably knowledgeable person right off the bat.
