Hey guys I need some help here I accidentally deleted something instead of copying and pasting it.:bang Normally not a big deal but I set my recycle bin to 0 so nothing goes in there. Is there any way for me to recover it or am I screwed? Thanks for any help. Oh and I'm running xp

You will need luck and an undelete tool.
Read here: http://www.geekgirls.com/windows_recycle_bin.htm
And scroll down to the undelete section, where you will find some links to undelete tools.
I don't have any direct experience with the tools linked, but I have used PCTools years ago and was always pleased with them. So if it were me I would start with that one...
Keep in mind you do *not* want to make things worse! I would find another computer and do the d/l with it. Run the recover from a flash drive. Do NOT turn off the computer with the erased file. You do not want to let Windows have a chance to save to the drive, which it will do when you shut down / start up. In fact, the best way to recover will be to yank the power on the machine with the deleted file, set the drive up as a secondary on the other machine and use the other machine to do the recovery.

Ok so i checked out that site and I checked out the programs on that link. Warning to not use those tools there unless your willing to pay through the nose for them!! I found a much better free program at http://www.recuva.com those other programs on the other link will recover your programs but will only recover them to a format that you cannot use until you pay like $50.00 for the program and makes it hard to get other programs to recover them
